Massive, bomb proof. 1" downpipe.
This also fits into the sturdy Roland percussion tripod stands. 1 fixed and 2 variable clamps.
Which makes a world of difference vs the SC-AP with 3 fixed clamps, which is much more limited with because you can't work around obstacles in tight settings.

The SC-APM solves that problem, because the variable clamps are also reaching further.

That's why it's twice the price compared to the SC-AP.
I have both, but if you have to choose, better buy this version.

Heavy, bomb proof piece of drum equipment. 1” end piple which also fits into a Roland percussion stand.
It’s meant to hold different boom stands and does that well. The older SC-AP has the limitation of a limitated, non-variable triangle to put the booms in, which will limit the user options.
This advanced version has 2 variable boom slots, which reach out enough to put anyting in it in tight conditions.
Again: it weighs enough..but it saves you tripods or loose clamps to attach other boom stands.
It adds simplicity.
